Dust Caps
A specialized groove, referred to as the "Dust Cup Groove," is meticulously machined into the upper punch barrel. This groove accommodates a dust cup, crafted from food-grade rubber, which can be securely fitted. This ingenious design serves the dual purpose of preventing dust from entering the upper punch barrel while also mitigating the issue of excessively tight upper punches.
Bellows
Dust cup bellows bear resemblance to dust cups, but possess an elongated operational region, rendering them considerably more effective than traditional cups. Affixed within the upper punch groove, these bellows serve to hinder the accumulation of dust on the punch barrel, thereby averting the inadvertent tightening of the punch within the turret. Furthermore, their presence acts as a safeguard against product contamination caused by lubricant contact.
